IN CASE YOU MISSED IT — LUBIN ON SOCIAL DECEMBER 2020

LUBIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA — DECEMBER 2020

The semester ended early in the month, and as students disconnected from college life, we had less content to post and saw slightly fewer engagements on our top-performing posts. This month, we used our social media platforms to continue to inspire Lubin Pride and reflect on our community’s accomplishments of the semester.

Our top organic Facebook post in December 2020 featured President Krislov’s Forbes Column about the lessons that our school leaders learned from the pandemic and what campus life was like in 2020. The column praised our students’ commitment to their studies and congratulated them on their ability to manage this odd semester.

Another Facebook post that created a lot of engagement this month was a recording of one of our most interesting Dean’s Roundtable events of the semester. This post’s caption captured our audience's attention as it introduced the innovative concept of Open Hiring, which they might not have been familiar with.

TWITTER

Our most viewed tweet for December promoted a student story about Massiel, an international MBA student who graduated this month and is not afraid to dream big. Her story is one of grit, focus, and commitment to her career.

Another popular tweet that we had in December was a link to a Dean’s Roundtable event with guest Michael Feldman ’88, who took time out of his busy schedule to talk to our students about his #PaceU experience, his impressive career, and her work ethic.

“Our classes this semester looked very different, but you still found new ways to continue pushing your boundaries and become more successful every day. Most importantly, you did your part in keeping your family, friends, and our community safe. And for that, we are incredibly proud! We hope you have a great winter break. See you in 2021!”

Our most engaging Instagram photo was a professional campus shot that we posted to celebrate the end of a milestone semester in December. This “new normal” photoshoot has proven to be very popular with our followers.

“Meet Bryan, a Coast Guard Achievement Medal recipient who chose #PaceU as the place that would help him advance his career as he focuses on growing his business as a real estate agent in New York City and New Jersey. Bryan is very active in the Lubin community and has started his own Real Estate Study Group at Pace. Read Bryan’s story in the link in our bio!”
“To me, #LubinLife means challenging yourself to become a well-rounded business person and a better version of yourself. It means that you are ambitious about achieving your business goals and leveraging the resources that are available to you as a way to slingshot you to success.”

Another highly engaging post in December was this student profile of a non-traditional student who has proven he is willing to work for what he wants. The Q&A with this optimistic and energized student is currently featured on Lubin’s Homepage.

LINKEDIN

This heart-warming student story is our top LinkedIn post for December. Our audience showed a lot of support for this fantastic student who has overcome a lot to get to where she is today, proving that Pace University provides all the support to help students achieve their dreams.

Another post that saw an overwhelmingly positive reception was Lubin’s Season’s Greetings message, wishing our community a healthy holiday break and reminding them about the office closure for the last two weeks of the year.

YOUTUBE

In December, we added one more video to our growing Youtube video gallery. This video was the recording of a Dean’s Roundtable event with Eric Kump ’92. Eric’s story is one of true grit and hard work. With an extensive international background in investment banking and private equity, this alumnus visited our students as part of our Dean’s Roundtable series and provided invaluable advice for a successful career in finance.

Although this video was posted in November, it gained many views in December thanks to it being included in that month’s edition of Pace Magazine. This video was a platform to get to know Lubin’s new dean, Lawrence G. Singleton. Student Government Association representatives from our New York and Pleasantville campuses sat down virtually with Dean Singleton to talk about his first few months as Dean of the Lubin School of Business and his vision for the school's future.
